Microsoft Android launcher is available for more than two years. Microsoft never talked about its Android launcher and released it silently.  It was developed by a Microsoft developer under company’s Garage experiment program. However, the company released a major update which will significantly enhance the Microsoft Android launcher experience.

Unlike IOS Android allows customizing the user experience. It allows third party developers to develop different launchers which can completely change the home screen and app drawer experience. In fact, using a launcher can completely change the user experience. Therefore, Microsoft Android launcher is making the most of it to bridge the gap between computer and mobiles.

The new Android launcher from Microsoft takes one step ahead of other similar launchers and dramatically improves the user experience. After the new update, Microsoft Android launcher aka Arrow Launcher will allow users to continue editing documents, viewing photos and browsing the Internet from mobile to PC. “Continue on PC” feature is a major feature of Microsoft edge and the company is advertising it a lot. The same feature comes on Microsoft Edge for Android and IOS. It is quite similar to Mac’s Handoff feature.

If you use a lot of Microsoft services like OneDrive, Outlook, and Office, then this launcher is tailor-made for you. All you have to do is tap on the files available on your phone’s home screen, and it will launch them on your PC.

Microsoft Android launcher also comes with The Feed; a feature similar to Google Now cards and Flipboard. It is available on left most home screen and will show all the latest news, upcoming events and other stuff to make life easier for the user. Moreover, you can also customize it to enhance the experience greatly.

How to Install Microsoft Android Launcher?

You can download Microsoft Android Launcher from Google Play Store. To download it, you will have to join the beta tester program. Once you are a part of that program you are good to go.
